I was misidentified and subjected to intolerable conditions... by a little kid

I was in line at the checkout counter and some kid was chatting it up with me. I didn't really appreciate it, but that was okay, I guess When his mother who was in front of me asked him what he was doing, he said he was just talking to someone, pointed at me, and referred to me as a boy. His mother looked at me, smiled, and said to him, "well, that's a man, honey." Perhaps she finally registered my displeasure. But, the kid insisted I was a boy. It was very unsettling and I regretted talking to him in the first place.

I don't think this has anything to do with social anxiety.

Very unsettling indeed, how dare a kid talk to you

@deadgerbil Well, I didn't encourage it and I wasn't expecting it. But, that isn't even really the point.

@MarkPaul more excuses. You are just in denial over your bad social anxiety

Running off the bus over a simple question, a kid freaking you out, you're just a joke who then will try to lecture others and say they are dramatic

@deadgerbil I'm not in denial. I just don't think this is a sample of social anxiety. That's all.
