Yes, in the army. We had three stories in our barracks, and for a time each platoon had it's own floor (until they decided to shove yet another company in it).
Sometimes when you are in the infantry, you get involuntarily abducted when you turn a corner. Get tied up, and held hostage till your guys rescue you. If they care to. Also happens company to company, and a few times a NCO from a different MOS would wander in the barracks on official duty, and you find him duct taped to the stair well. Sometimes they look really pissed too. I removed the duct tape one from a guys mouth, to find out if he was there for a important reason, but he kept yelling about being a important NCO and how we would all get Article 15s, and so I just added more tape to his mouth and left since he didn't want to anwser my question. I was in civilian clothes so he wouldn't be able to identify me. Those bug universal military rules about rank, conduct, following orders..... doesn't apply to treapassers in the barracks.
