We had wreckers/tow trucks at the family service center when I was a younger man. I've worked in most every condition imaginable.

It was interesting learning whether people were sincere when they say they'll 'pay whatever it takes' to get their car started.

Yeah, I was living in a truck back in the 2021 winter freeze and had to change the battery (thank god). If it was a belt or something else, I'd still be a popsicle by now. Lol

Once had to install a starter on a diesel truck in teeth of freezing blizzard

Long, long time ago. I'm glad cars seem a lot more reliable now, so once yearly service is usually the only maintenance they need for many years!

Put an exhaust system on in cold weather. No garage. Just a few years ago. I kept coming in to warm up a bit. But I hate when it’s hot.

Not in a long, long while, and I'm going to keep that streak going for as long as I can.

I've worked on it in 95F in the summer,but not much below 32 in the summer.......thats cold🥶
