Did you grow up in a strict household?

I grew up in a strict and religious household. My parents really had no choice but to be strict though, because of where we lived.

No. It was just my mom and I. She was an introvert, artist and very connected with nature. She mostly was doing her own thing so I did mine. We lived in the boondocks and it was wonderful. I explored the woods and fields all day.

When I did see my dad it was a nightmare.
