Tell us about your car crash experiences!

One minor crash when I was in my early 20's. Was the loudest bang I ever heard but no one was really hurt. My friend blew his ear drum though, the same night. We were going ghost hunting if that has anything to do with it.

Been in three.
Never while I was behind the wheel.
1. T-boned at junction by some idiot not paying attention.
2. Motorcycle weaving in and out of traffic caught my neighbours car door mirror and he then fell off.
3. And the big one. Out with my Cousin in a car he'd spent all summer rebuilding.
On the day it passed all its roadworthy tests we went on a drive.
It was nice. Comfortable. All good.
And then a drunk driver going the opposite direction in the wrong lane at speed hit us head on and we ended up upside down in a ditch.
Nearly two hours until the fire guys arrived to cut us out.
Broke my shoulder and left arm; fractured my left leg; cuts and bruises.... scared me to death !
Really horrible when it happens in an isolated area and all you can do is try and control your breathing while all your senses are focused on the smell of petrol and fried electrics.
If I hadn't been wearing a seatbelt....

A guy ran a red light and crashed into my drivers side door so hard that it pushed my car over onto its side. Ambulance took me to the hospital where they stitched up a wound in my head. I was lucky. It could have been a lot worse.

Luckily, I've never been in a serious accident.
