Anyone else had experiences with bus drivers being jerks?

I remember one in particular, (years ago)

I was looking for work at the time, didn't have a car, and got cheaper bus fair because I was using a concession card at the time.

He used to make comments all the time like:
"It's annoying being on your last route and someone who couldn't be bothered to learn how to drive, decides to catch the bus"

And then when I did get a job and no longer needed my concession card, he'd make comments like:
"Oh you're finally deciding to be honest"

He even locked the bus doors when as I gave my bf at the time a good bye kiss and yelled at me because he stopped and had to open the doors again, and apologised to everyone saying it was my fault if anyone was late to anything lol 😂

Yeah, I guess some people just don't like me 🤷

The school bus driver when I was in 6th and 7th grade was a mean-assed jerk. He would mock the students, yell at them, etc. One time a young kid probably 2nd grade stood up as the bus was approaching the boy’s home and the bus driver looked in his mirror and slammed the brakes and the boy bumped his mouth on the bar above the seat in front of him, he left crying. He also got angry at a high school student who smarted right back at him and the driver challenged him to a fight. Pulled over on a side road in a rural area and they got out and had a fist fight. Stuff like that was common and I dreaded riding that bus.
