I understand the addiction mindset now. Tho I know its more complicated than this, its just part of it.

Today is my last day before I attempt the keto diet for the second month in a row. And since i'm gonna be without sweets and processed foods, I feel like I must eat as much as I can TODAY since i'm gonna be without it for a while. I think thats what people with an addiction do with their habits. One day they know they;re gonna be without, so they must use as much as they can

I think it has a lot to do with a mental mindset because we are creatures of habit. You might be feeling you are going to be " lacking" so you want to prepare yourself ? If you view it as self torture it is going to be more difficult but if you tell yourself " yeahhhh all these good things it is going to bring me" instead you have won the battle.
I gave up sugar and I do not even think nor desire it now !
Good luck to you !

This is a really bad idea, through and through. Don't resort to extreme diets, just change your normal diet slightly. Figure out what in your meals is causing the calories to increase the most, and see if you can get away with halving it. You'd be surprised how halving the fat can barely make any difference to the taste yet cut out a massive amount of calories. Do you like sauces? Instead of two table spoons, take one table spoon and dip your food more carefully into it, and you'll get the same flavour.
@MartinTheFirst I really dont eat alot of calories, I just nibble on junk food. Alot of people think if you're trying to lose weight, you must be eating 10 million calories a day when that cant be far from the truth. Its what I eat thats making me gain weight. I really dont have a balanced diet. I exercises, but I dont eat healthy. I eat the normal calorie amount its just filled with processed foods and not a whole lot of veggies.

@TurtleEclipseOfTheHeart So if it's vitamins you need, then either eat veggies or supplements. I'm getting the impression that you are trying to lose weight, and to do that you have to eat less calories. If you're "fat" then it has nothing to do with "processed" foods, unhealthy foods, etc, it only has to do with the calories. Do you object?
