I hate being ignored and just wish people would be honest to my face and call me annoying so I'm not in the dark.

Long ago I read something that may help you in this instance - it's a rather simple mantra, but can bring you peace.

"Don't let anyone rent space in your head for free. That space is prime real estate."

Relax. Breathe. Don’t over analyze. And stop kicking yourself. It’s the reason why you think you’re annoying
