What is the last beautiful thing you saw or did?
Lately I have experienced so many beautiful moments that I feel my heart is going to explode.

I met a single mum tonigjt waiting in tje cold outside a supermarket at night for a taxi . She was thin and shivering in her coat .
We talked for a moment. She loved her sons, and wanted to get home witj food to cook dinner.
she had been waiting over an hour in the cold night air for a taxi .
It broke my heart in a beautiful way how amazing mothers can love , and what they will suffer , just to provide and give .
I gave her a lift home , and she left $10 on my passenger seat .
It made me cry .
I realised there are humans with humanity left .
It was a beautiful thing between two simple humans who still understand what it is to be human .

Truly: it was a chance thing . I commented on her coat as i walked by and we got talking . And before i knew it -.i was offering a lift home.
It was weird. She mentioned she doesn't normally get in cars witj strangers , amd i said "i dont know why i offered to a stranger to get in my car" 🤷♀️
It was a bizarre momentary thing .
And we talked flat out all the way. And she lived near me.
It was just one of those things where the universe connects and it all works out.
You know - the way humans SHOULD be .
It was lovely.
Thankyou for seeing the beauty of tje monent .
It made my hard day at work seem worthwhile ending this way .
I felt like crap , until I helped her out.
Now I feel my day was a good one .

I firmly believe that what goes around, comes around, maybe not immediately and to the same degree, but eventually and over the long run. Such kind gestures accumulate in your heart and mind, and how you perceive the world is a reflection of you 🙏

Whenever some stranger tries to rile me, I remind myself to not let them ruin my day. Life is too short to harbour ill will or feelings on those that mean nothing to me

I have reasons for resentment, stong ones . But i dont want them to win .
I want to be human, in its best form.
And its moments like tonight, that make feel it. That make all the shit worth it.
Two strangers , connecting , and being kind both ways.
It makes all the shitty stuff fade away .
It makes me believe we might make make it, even despite sociality and the fucked up ecconomy .
We mignt just have enough hearts left to reset this world .

@OogieBoogie I can see when someone allows resentment and anger eat them up. Years later, they are in the same place, because they couldn’t let go, couldn’t move on.
I like to believe we humans have a lot more in common than we think, and that are differences aren’t enough to keep us from interacting with each other . It’s just easier to assume and remain “safe” in our bubble
