Easier said than done. It’s a process of healing. Sometimes healing is fast, sometimes it’s slow, and sometimes the injury is so severe that healing is not possible, but with time and care, it can be managed.

I don't know that we ever truly get over or let go. Nostalgia can hold me hostage for a couple days just out of the blue and I have to feel it for what it is. However, we must decide whether we want to live as the victim or heroine of the situation(s) we were dealt. It's a perpetual cycle of hurting and healing. Being realistic vs overly cynical or positive and honoring our feelings.🌺

It’s a thing, trying to let go of things you used to rely on to survive that you finally realized are hurting you also. How does one find the motivation to live differently?
