I need some advice

So right now I’m currently employed at four different places.

Place 1: It’s a hotel it’s part time it fits with my schedule and the paying $14 an hour but the downside is front desk is responsible for helping with the laundry and we don’t get paid to help

Place 2: It’s a hotel it’s part time it fits my schedule I love the atmosphere because it’s clean and modern but the paying is $13 an hour but I REALLY WANNA WORK THERE

Place 3: It’s part time it fits with my schedule But I don’t know exactly what I would be doing there they pay $25 an hour but they said that it’s a lot of hard work like communication

Place 4: It’s full-time but I am able to set my own hours but they’re going to start me off at 12 an hour. But after that I will be paid by commission I will be going out in the community trying to sell solar panels and setting up appointments for people interested in buying them. What I like about this job is as a safety net if I don’t make any sales I will still get paid an hourly rate which will be boost up to $20 an hour. So I can suck all I want and still get paid.

Which two should I go with??

From experience you must give consideration to the 4th one. You will not be the only one on sales and they will do weekly/ monthly review. Person A managed 20 sales a week average, person B manages 14 sales a week on average. And C manages 0-1 week average... Any guesses who they will have a word with in Office!?

Option 3 get much details as possible of the role! Option 2 ask what the laundry hour of average is per week. If they can answer straight up front great. If they say "It varies week to week so yeah" means they're hiding a surprise you'll only find out once in!

Best of luck.

I'd go for place 2 cause it's obviuosy better than place 1, being satisfied with what you do is way more woethy than 1 dollar/hour.
Then I'd also keep job 3 cause it pays well and also if it's full of challenges etc it can be helpful to improve your skills and potentially your resume. The only possible problem with job 3 imho if that's they want you to make extra hours. If it's part time it should be part time.
I'd completely say no to job4, it doesn't really interest you it seems, also commissions are often a little lie.

So
Job2
Job3
Job1 only if 3 is meh
Job4 is a nope.

Place 1 sounds good I don't mind doing laundry
Place 2 sounds good because you will be happy there and its only $1 less and maybe you can get a raise at some point
Place 3 is totally not enough information.
Place 4 I would hate because I hate sales.

@JimboSaturn Yes sales is the type of work which can make or break a person. It will be worse if on first day they encourage force buying and "a bit of toughness" (bullying) to get the sale made. But strong sharks are tougher than the weaker sharks.
@Sazzio COFFEE IS FOR CLOSERS!
Places 1 & 2 sounds like the best fit. You can work extra to make up the difference, and a little laundry never hurt anyone.

Place 3 is too little information, and it could be a while before you see that cash on Place 4. Really not a good starting point.

My vote is Places 1 & 2.

I don't think I would take #4 cuz I'm not cut out for sales. The safety net sounds nice but I probably wouldn't last long in that position.

I'd like to keep #3 but I'd need to know more about it! I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be sales, too.

And I would keep #2 because you like it a lot.

Option 1 &2. They seem to be the best fit for you based on what you've mentioned. Option 3 seems to already have a stigma going forward with that one. Option 4 is sales and although it may pay more, I have known friends that have done this kinda work and there's always a catch...I'd steer clear of #4.

Place 4 will be more security, but that is also sales. So while you say you can suck and get paid, that one could also be the first one to go if month over month you are not selling anything.

Place 2 at least you would be happy.

1 or 2 don’t sound bad. There’s not enough information to comment on #3. Number 4 sounds good but from my experience in sales you do get a safety net but if you don’t produce they’ll let you go.
