Getting called out for looking at my phone while in a check-out line...

A common cashier called me out for looking at my phone while I was 2nd in line with 3 other people behind me. She was insulting and condescending. As I moved up to take my place in line I was barely able to speak because she was vocally perturbed by me not giving the line my undivided attention.

At the same time, the older woman behind me kept smiling at me and wanted to know if I worked out? It was quite overwhelming. I supposed I mumbled something. But, in any case, I was glad to get out of that madhouse. I've never been so accosted anywhere. I still don't really know what to make of this whole episode.
