For those of you wondering why Yahoo Answers was shut down...

From what they said here, it looks like the site was just old and outdated.

“To that end, we have decided to shift our resources away from Yahoo Answers to focus on products that better serve our members and deliver on Yahoo's promise of providing premium trusted content.” Other companies have similarly disbanded community features in recent years.Apr 12, 2021

I dunno. I kind of feel like Verizon is focused on it only being a news feed website. They got rid of Games, and I think they got rid of Yahoo Groups. Now they're getting rid of Answers. It's a real shame to see a long time company practically shut down all aspects that made it what it was in my opinion :(
