Man, why does soda have to have so much sugar in it?

Not to mention the high fructose corn syrup. It tastes great, but it's so bad for you 馃槄.

Get sugar free soda
SubstantialKick31-35, M
@ExtremeNext Unfortunately, there aren't too many brands of soda that have a diet version.
BeefySenpieM
@SubstantialKick Pretty sure the diet variations have artificial crap which ain't good for you either
marsbarF
@SubstantialKick Really? There are tons. Don鈥檛 you live in the States?
ExtremeNext31-35
@marsbar same in Australia ever drink comes in sugar free
SubstantialKick31-35, M
@BeefySenpie Yep, that's what I've heard.
marsbarF
@ExtremeNext Almost all of the main brands & even generic brands have sugar free.
SubstantialKick31-35, M
@marsbar As far as I know, the only ones that I see when I go shopping are Diet Pepsi, Diet Coke, and Diet Mountain Dew. Sunkist does have a "Zero" version, similar to Coke Zero.

@SubstantialKick is that why Americans are so fat 馃
SubstantialKick31-35, M
@ExtremeNext Yep, that's one thing that will definitely make you fat...lol.
marsbarF
@SubstantialKick Sprite, 7-Up, Fresca, Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, Fanta, Cream Soda & Barqs & Mugs Root Beer have sugar-free. Plus there are generic ones. You鈥檙e not interested in any of them?
SubstantialKick31-35, M
@marsbar Well, the Walmart Supercenter that I usually shop at only has sugar versions of the ones that I mentioned. There are other sugar free choices though besides soda like Sparkling Ice, and Clear American Ice.
marsbarF
@SubstantialKick I guess you鈥檒l have to shop elsewhere if you鈥檙e really interested in the sugar free ones.

@ExtremeNext Diet soda is a stroke risk. I rarely drink any sodas any more, though I keep them in the house for other people.
