Have you ever been burned or scalded before?

A couple of months ago, I was taking a pizza out of the oven, and I didn't realize that the oven mitt I was using had a hole in it 😬.

Microwaved my coffee, it superheated. Tiny stream dribbled out of the travel thermos I was carrying as I picked up the newspaper. Seared like acid around the wrist.
2nd degree scarring didn't fade for a year.
