Care is first demonstrated then later reciprocated as part of growing up. The problem is the lack of demonstrations.

@meJess I thought so too. Yet notice more so that it isn’t so regarding care being reciprocal. I see in some circumstances it is take for granted. I wonder a lot why it changes over time.
