What does care look like in action for you?

Dear friends.
Is care given or expected? 50/50?
Nobody00 · F
REAL care? Given when unexpected and not even asked for. If its " I will do this for you ONLY if you do for me". Then I dont know what kind of relationship is I wouldn't be able to stay. Nothing but conditions . like that type of "love" where they say :" I love you, BUT......"
Nobody00 · F
@Branchess acknowledged yes should be. People need to show appreciation of each other kind actions, support etc or anything , favors. Definitely.
Nobody00 · F
@Branchess if you are the only one doing things for the other person then don't notice or don't appreciate... Um, I would stop doing it, if I were you . Screw them

@Nobody00 lol 😅 Roger that.

It starts with simple kindness and acceptance. As long as the ratio isnt always 99/1, some people need more care, some at different times.

Basically our parents should of loved us instead of acting like we're a pain in the ass.

@Paintedfox a healthy dose of self esteem is the foundation for understanding what is good and beneficial for oneself? I do agree that we need more levels of care at different times in our lives.

Warm smile... physical comfort.... using words with sincere meaning ... being sensitive and tactful .... using ones intelligence and being smart with reciprocation ....from empathy felt in the heart to compassion shining through the soul through the eyes

@SW-User feels.

Care is first demonstrated then later reciprocated as part of growing up. The problem is the lack of demonstrations.
Branchess · 26-30, F
@meJess I thought so too. Yet notice more so that it isn’t so regarding care being reciprocal. I see in some circumstances it is take for granted. I wonder a lot why it changes over time.

It has to be given before it can be expected and yes, we hope to be cared for in the same degree that we care, though often it doesn't work out that way
