Do you find it hard to visit nursing homes because you think it'd be better for the residents to simply be put to sleep?

It was hard when my mom was locked in the dementia wing. To need to be let in and out to see my own mom. Like a prisoner. It was so scary in there it was too much for me many times. Its not a good way to go out. The people that work their are just as miserable as the patients. So then to watch her get treated like garbage. Food spilled all over her, left alone, half out of her chair. Luckily she did pass quickly.
