Did you find The Wire (TV show) difficult to get into?

Yeah I dunno, I've given it a try and I just cant get into it. I don't think any of the casting is right, hardly anything happens and I don't find anything about the show convincing. Also who are they even going after, except some poor folk who sell drugs because it's either that or live in poverty. I mean who cares. It's so dull and drab and nothing ever happens.
