during a chat someone ask me something that I feel insulted in my sense , I told him politely about that and he blocked me , do you think it's the only way to stop some one when she/he is not agree with you .

No, his blocking you was NOT the only way to deal with it. It's actually a very cowardly way.

He did you a favor by blocking you.
Now you won't have to talk with him again.
