I worked in Berkeley for a few years. Great city, but folks are all kinds of “different” there.
A friend and I were walking back to our office on Shattuck after lunch when we passed by a man in a pink ballgown, blond wig (he was black) Converse high tops and Mickey Mouse ears. We kept our faces as straight as we could manage.
When we were well out of earshot, my friend commented, “well, now, that just looks like a trip to Disneyland gone horribly wrong...” 🤪
