I got this wild idea to write a novel

Literally writing it in my diary because typing a first draft is draining. The ideas flow more freely when I write
When I read the previous chapters I think its cringy and boring but I just want to see if I can do something i have rarely done in life- finish what I started.

It's good to get any writing done, though.

I've written one novel, two-thirds of a second one (much longer than the first), and have recently started a third. I don't know if I will ever finish these two, but I work on them every now and then. I love going back and reading what I wrote; I'm often impressed, even if I do end up rewriting a lot of it. But it gets better every time.

@SW-User oh wow! How awesome is that! Did you publish your completed novel?

I have that problem too. I can't read back because I find my writing "lame" OR I'll find something quite not right about it. It's a lot like painting. If you start looking with too much scrutiny and being bothered by everything, you'll end up painting over the same spot over and over, and never finish it.
