I LOVE talking to large groups of people. Half the college professors aren't very good at it though.

@Abstraction I don't do well in front of large groups at all. On two occasions I got so nervous that my mind just went completely blank, I had totally forgotten what I was just talking about, and I just stood there looking like an idiot...lol.

@SubstantialKick Oh, I get it. My first attempt, I was a student teacher. It was a country school so I only had to teach eight grade four students. I stood in front of them - complete blank. Couldn't even remember what the subject was.
Now I can get up in front of hundreds or thousands without nerves.
It's just a different mode of communication. We feel exposed, but nobody really cares about us - they are just having their own day and we're part of the furniture. Teaching helped, then lots of public communication - until I was completely relaxed. Now it's an art form for me.
