Well the way I define racism is believing in a superiority in one race over another, or defining others only by their race, discriminating against or thinking negatively about others based soley on their race.
So I'd say it's just a preference. For instance I find eastern asian women particularly beautiful because I like the way they look. You just like what you like and acknowledging that and observing what is true is fine 🤷♂️ attraction is the most discriminatory thing we do as humans and it's in our biology.
Now you could make a case that attributing positive things that aren't true to a region of people might be in the same ball park but that's just due to a lack of knowledge. I've had people do the same to me because of my British accent and they've made assumptions about who I am based off of my nationality, but that's not "racist" or whatever the equivilent is to that. We make assumptions sometimes based off whatever little information we have, we can't be all knowing.
I just stick to my definition in the first paragraph, otherwise we get caught up in "is this racist?!, what about that!? omg!?" lol.
