April in Northern Illinois is supposed to be spring time, but the weather flip flops back and forth between really nice, and cold...sometimes cold enough for snow.

My least favorite month would be December, because it's cold and it's dark and it's wet, and raining all the time. But there is Christmas in December, and the whole S family gathers in my house, and that's why I love that month.
