I think it's awesome to walk in to a bank and approach the teller, full mask hat and sunglasses holding a paper bag. To make a with draw.

@jbon85 hahahaha... awesome.

@JuliusCaesar Yeah, I'm not sure if I translated correctly, holiday if translated literally. My business is closed until September so I have a good amount of free time now, which though will go away mostly in studying, so I'm not even really enjoying it lol

@JuliusCaesar Here they're necessarily paid, typically two weeks (cumulative) within the same year and another two weeks within 18 months. In general we're given the entire August, and the biz remains shut. This year due to COVID there have been two extra weeks.

Eh, studying for university, due to work the time I can dedicate to it is scarce, so I'll take advantage of holiday time.

It's far better than a Ventilator!! 🤷‍♀️
deadgerbil · 26-30, M
@Harriet03 try telling that to those whose braincells are socially distancing lol
I cause the misery.
@FairyGirlGemma ohhhh! Yes that would be it. Do you have any clips?
@SensitiveCha0s There's a lot on Youtube, mainly the host laughing because some of the questions sound dirty 🤣
@FairyGirlGemma well that would be the best part!!! 🤣🤣

I now have to wear a mask in the common areas of my apartment building, under threat of eviction. I went out to water the flowers at 5:30 this morning in my mask. Nothing else, just my mask.

Face masks are inconvenient.
This is misery:

The science is clearly split on this. The bottom line though, is that the leadership is mandating them, and whether they actually do anything or not, for most people it won't kill you to wear one. I like to go into the grocery store and they (a private company) require it, so I'll wear one. I don't believe that the exhale spewing around my mask and yours is safe though, so I'll also stay a healthy distance away from you.

If nothing else I hope e remember this come regular cold and flu season and stop coughing and sneezing on each other in public. I've been directly sneezed on in the subway many times - maybe the social distancing part of this will resonate? Better yet, if you are sick, please stay home.

If by misery you mean trying not to aggressively suck my face mask into my mouth from being winded by simply walking from my car to the grocery store doors then no, I don’t enjoy that one bit.

It is what it is, man. It’s an executive order here and it’s being enforced in numerous stores. I comply for several reasons, one of them being that I don’t want to add to the ever-growing drama that’s already there. It’s not pleasant wearing one, but my smile reaches my eyes and the compassion for others still comes through the fabric so it’s not too terrible of an existence and one my claustrophobia is adjusting to.

No. I pull it down while noone is looking.
PerfectIllusion · 46-50, F
Eh, I wear one now because its mandated by our Governor. I really dont think it prevents anything at all. I dont particularly enjoy the fact that everytime I inhale, it practically gets sucked to the back of my throat. Or when I take it off, I manage to get it tangled in my earrings and then it gets ripped out of my ear.🙄

Oh yes especially with this humid weather. Who doesn’t like walking around with it and can’t breathe as if we all have asthma.

no but I understand an accept it because I am one of the high risk people
Jeffrey53 · 51-55, M
I don’t like it but I have to wear them at work.
Pretzel · 70-79, M
I'm learning to tolerate it
deadgerbil · 26-30, M
Hardly misery, people will cry and moan and invent reasons as to why they can't wear one despite what the science says.

The same people will probably reject a covid vaccine too because it causes misery in the form of a sore arm. Bunch of crybabies.
