The content is important. The author is only relevant as a guidepost — this author has produced content that I enjoyed before, so I'm more willing to look at any new content they've produced.

@SimplyLogicalDiscipline I am more inclined to push through something by an author whose works I've enjoyed in the past, while I might set aside the same thing if I wasn't familiar with the author.
