Why am I now just realizing this?

As I'm entering what most would call my twilight years, why am I now finally seeing what I should have been doing with my life all along? I hate that I squandered so much of it.

Don't get me wrong. I spent most of my life doing a lot of what I love. For 20 years I was able to travel across the country with a video camera seeing things I wouldn't have seen otherwise. It's just on a more personal level where I feel I've come up short.

@MrBill36 I think everyone has thoughts like that after looking back on their life.. but its wonderful you were able to make a career out of what you love doing.
