It ran across the road just in front of me, caught in my bright lights.
It wasn't a cat, or at least not a normal sized cat. It wasn't a opossum, nor skunk, nor fox or hound. Just something strange and fast, and didn't make a sound.
Bobcat nor cougar, Not an elk nor deer, Not Bigfoot, and not Freddy Kruger. But whatever it was, gave me a start, And I slammed on my brakes from fear, Stopping my heart.
Creature of the night, Skinwalker I say, I believe in the undescribable, Unexplainable... Things of the night, Creatures of fright. I believe it was just so,
Whatever it was, I don't even want to know.
