Why do some men hate and feel threatened of strong women?

@Crazychick I live in as Asian country. It's a common sight here men hating and bashing women if they show any of independence.

@JBird But what if the women are born to be independent? What if the men are born to be equalitarian? What happens then? How do Asian influences override that?

@Crazychick that's a good question. In Asia, there is no value of 'equalitarian'. Be a man or woman, if you caught advocating for equality, you will be shunned by the society. I remember when my mother decided to divorce my father and she received a lot of backlash from the community, including her own family, for leaving him and live independently. It's tough but she managed to live on her own.

@JBird But what about people who were BORN TO ADVOCATE EQUALITY? Don't tell me such people don't exist in Asia, it's only the largest and most heavily populated continent in the world.

@Crazychick very few people do that. Most of times, their opinions will be overshadowed due to male dominance.

@JBird There must be more than a few. It's not only opinions, it goes much, much deeper than that.
