Have you ever met a famous person?

I have ate with liars who call themselves "Politicians"
The wanted my Grandpa's backing and support ,in exchange they claimed they would protect his heritage and livelihood ,,,but they always lie .
He and his brother and bus loads of people who cared merged on the capital ,that is how they were heard ,not through the mouths of empty promises .
When I was a kid I ate at the table with George Wallace ,full of hate ,years later
my Uncle took him on fishing trips to Dry Tortugas after he was shot .
he was not such a wind bag them and he repented for all his hate speech .

I have built homes for and preformed on stage with Rock and Country stars
Was part of the crew that built Loni Anderson and Burts homes in the Carolina's ..and a retired Supreme court justice treated me like his son
my brother and I restored a mansion for him ,,that's how I got in with so many other rich people ,,they wanted us to work on their homes too ,
We do quality work and can reproduce things you can't buy anymore .

I have been blessed to be playing at the right place at the right time and met people willing to further my music career .
I was homeless ,living in a hobo camp when I sang at a mission ,I had just lost everything that give me a reason to live .I was severely disabled .
Soon I was living in a condo ,new everything and in a recording studio
recording an album I always dreamed of recording ,,its self titled so I don't share the name of it ,(I work hard to protect who I am and my family )
my identity has been stolen and used ,I put my family in harms way being so reckless with my identity ,,but I am no one special ,,

But I am sure some will say all this is BS ,,to each their own
I have been very blessed ,,I was enabled to live a good life ,and always on my terms ,I am sorry that seems so impossible to so many today .

I Served with and shook hands with men the military names ships after their families
When I was 12 or 13 I preformed for Jerry Lewis on his MSD telethon
Lots of stars were there ,,I went on at like 2 or 3 am

I have met athletes like Serena Williams and her sister ,
Race car drivers like the King Richard Petty ,
Sat on Roy Clark's knee as a little boy ,Jerry Reed dated my aunt
She was one of few at the time ,female race car drivers .
I have met and worked for many big name stars who are no longer with us ,,
But their memory lives on in me .

My Dad was the greatest man I ever met
No one wrote books about him like his Dad and Grandpa
But he was just as great ,,he was my Dad ,and he contributed a lot to this world ,,but like many underdogs ,,he never got the glory
He chose a wife over a fortune ,,Grandpa was right about Mom
But that was Dads choice to make ,even if it did get him dis inherited
I was cut out for not voting like Grandpa said I had to ,

But that made Dad a bigger man in my book ,,he did the things he did because that was the kind of man he was ,,he was never seeking recognition or glory
or to inherit anything anyone else made or had ,he was his own man .
He taught me to make my own ,and live life "My Way " and I have
I have been given a lot of breaks ,,but I am the one who always did the work
no one else gave me anything ,or made me famous just because I know them .

No but my neighbor and I were in the Home Depot. The mayor was there as well, she insisted we choose another isle as she really can't stand the mayor.

I dont get overly excited about celebrities or ask for autographs, but here were a few instances where they were near. In Hollywood California Dustin Hoffman was right behind me. We were at a stop light and he was in a fancy convertible. Then Jess Walton from The Young and the Restless was walking down the boardwalk at Venice Beach California with her entourage and everyone asking for autographs. Football stars I saw Jim Harbaugh at a sports bar who is now a coach.

Judy Garland spit on me, I hugged Bonnie Raitt and I danced with Lily Tomlin...that's about it

Locally famous. This is a small country, it's not that hard to meet famous people.

I met two US governors and once had lunch with Jose Feliciano; no one really famous
