What are your plans for the day?

It is Sunday morning and I am enjoying coffee with my laptap and my cat on my lap. My husband will soon be getting up (I'm the earlier riser). He wants to make breakfast for me today; steak and eggs. We're going to do some fall decorating today; get a bale of straw, pumpkins, and mums. My husband is hugely into Halloween and wants to start getting the decor down from the attic already.

Later we are going to see the Downton Abbey movie downtown then stop out for dinner. This evening will be ironing clothes and food prepping for the week. What's on tap for you today?

Do some laundry and get ready for the work week, work with my father-in-law to figure out why our car won't start and why the belts squeal on our truck (it's not the belts themselves, they are brand new), and cook my wife's birthday dinner...her birthday isn't until Tuesday but I have to work that evening so we're doing it today while I'm off.

@Moria810 I let her decide...it's her birthday coming up and I told her I'd fix whatever she would like to have. She chose steaks (with baked potato and salad).

@Kingfish28 What will you drink? I drink a lot of wine, but also like hard cider beers. Sometimes brandy. When I'm on vacation I tend to drink a lot of bloody Mary's. Today, I will likely have hard cider beer. We have one called Original Sin which is much less sweet than others. I do not like the overly sweet ones.
