Not crazy but emotionally abusive.

@passingby8 Wow 😕
passingby8 · 31-35, F
@SubstantialKick He had his nice,sweet caring moments,I was so into him.But looking back at some of the things he said,they weren't very nice.Sonetimes it's hard for me to recognize emotional abuse or neglect because I'm use to it from my own family.

@passingby8 Sorry to hear that. I was teased and made fun of in the past by my own parents. That really hurts.

@passingby8 isn't that truly confusing when they become nice and sweet and then abusive?
passingby8 · 31-35, F
@SubstantialKick Plus also being gaslighted makes you question yourself and whether it's your fault,blame yourself for everything,I recognize that stuff better now.Im sorry hon.
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@SW-User Yeah. The "nice and sweet" can be a very sincere-looking cover up for the abuse that's under the surface. Beware of narcissists.
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@SW-User I know, right? It's like they are playing mind games.

@PhoenixPhail wise words. It's everything about them... Mostly
passingby8 · 31-35, F
@PhoenixPhail I seem to meet a lot of guys like that,that later on after they leave my life realize they were possible narcissists or sociopaths.It takes something very significant for me to see it.I just usually blame myself,it's my fault for having so many problems,or I'm over reacting.
@passingby8 It's not your fault, however, you could be putting out vibes that attract those kind of people into your world. If you see yourself as a victim, they can smell that, and hone in on you and take advantage of that. They'll suck the life out of you, if you let them.
passingby8 · 31-35, F
@PhoenixPhail I'm usually lonely and alone so the first guy who acts nice towards me I fall for easily usually and that makes me ignore a lot of red flags.
SW-User
@passingby8 I have lived that too, ignoring the red flags . I guess with experience one realizes that sweet words mean nothing sometimes... And that certain people being more pain than anything else..

@SW-User true.

@passingby8 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
@passingby8 Very good awareness. Learning to have a better, more fulfilling relationship with yourself, will help you to say "no." You won't have your own neediness in your field of vision to get in the way of what you're looking at and alter your perceptions. If you want a soul mate, mate with your soul FIRST. Then the reflection of that relationship will show up in your relationships with others.

@PhoenixPhail yeah thanks.
@passingby8 You're welcome. 😊
