Finally getting out of the ER (brought my oldest in around 11pm

CT looks good
ER doctor still wants him to follow up with Sports Medicine doctor.
No football until he’s cleared. Just to rule one any minor/moderate concussions.

He’s going home on muscle relaxers and Tylenol/Motrin

Thank goodness this wasn’t a worse outcome.

@CheshireCatalyst I seriously wanted to cry.

One of the kids got wheeled out but that other kid targeted our players helmet maliciously.
He even celebrated that hit after he made it.
It was disturbing- that kid is going to end up permanently injuring someone- and that’s not what the sport is about. Parents and coaches have worked so hard to change things around and make it safer
With proper tackling technique and changing even kick off (which we no longer do at the beginning of the game or turn around of the ball)
