Ever Drive Past the 'Old Place' ?
I did today, it's pretty run down but my 1st Christmas tree is still there! Made me happy to see it, it has to be over 70 by now. I like to think it'll still be there after I'm gone...

I did a 5k through my old neighborhood in June...suburban, 1960's cul-de-sac houses...and while most looked exactly the same, sadly mine was neglected. It's very sad...but, time marches on. When I was a kid we'd drive to the old neighborhood and my dad would say "lock the doors"....the houses they grew up in were trashed. Sometimes it's best to let the past sit for it's portrait.
