Was you ever bullied and the adults say, 'You need to learn how to defend yourself instead of running to us'?

Then you learn how to defend yourself and beat the heck out of your bully
then adults say, 'Violence is never the answer, you should have come to us'.

I was being bullied on my way home from school and one day the old man was home and saw what was going on. He told me to stand up and kick this guy's ass. With a little help from gestures from him? I whooped him good and was never bullied again. That's what some parents should teach instead of running home to Mommie.
