they'll be better off in the long run if they do. Bullies thrive on weakness and fear, making someone run away only boosts their ego. Nothing puts a bully in their place like publicly humiliating them, and yes, sometimes that requires a little violence... as for school aged bullies, most run away themselves if someone actually stands up to them...

I was being bullied on my way home from school and one day the old man was home and saw what was going on. He told me to stand up and kick this guy's ass. With a little help from gestures from him? I whooped him good and was never bullied again. That's what some parents should teach instead of running home to Mommie.

That’s why my dad taught me how to fight, one of the only things he taught me, it was a good thing to teach me how to defend myself and stand my ground but in my late teens and early adulthood, it didn’t work with the anger issues I had back then.

I have very little experience with bullies as I lived in my own world throughout school.
But Yes, I have seen adults do that.

Bullied.
Rarely said anything to anyone.
Mom called the school the few times I complained.
