Have you ever gone into the wilderness for about two weeks, with just your dog?

Was there a very distinct sense of separation from others after you got back to civilization? Like you are viewing everything as an alien from another world. It lasts for a few days, and it's very strange.

No. I have a huge phobia of isolation. I get uneasy even living way out in the country away from anyone, so I would never deliberately put myself in a situation like what you're talking about.

@DearAmbellina2113 That's very unfortunate. There are some beautiful places, and things, you will never experience. Wild deer can be friendly, and birds as well. The best water I have ever had was from a spring running out of a cliff situated at an altitude of 12,000 ft. It was ice cold and it tasted fantastic. Trout cooked on an open fire, way out in the wilderness... Awesomeness.

@JimminyChristmas oh I love nature. I like to hike the trails in the Smokies, and I love to spend time outdoors when the weather is cool. I just can't be all alone. I have to have a way to reach civilization no matter where I am.

@DearAmbellina2113 That doesn't seem phobic. You just tend to worry too much?😁

@JimminyChristmas the phobia is of empty places. So as long as I'm with people, I can go anywhere. :)
