I would like to tell people who have been captured and detained by ICE that I feel so bad for them and sorry for what they are going through.

The whole point of arresting people for drunk driving and taking their licence is that drunk driving drastically increases their chances of killing themselves or others and they HAVE to be given a punishment that will teach them this.. clearly even though they KNOW its not ok to drink and drive they have done so ... often repeatedly.
You know, surely??? the consensus is that over a certain limit you loose coordination, judgement and inhibition.. all bad for driving.

The Aussies, I understand, have totally changed the culture re drinking and driving and it's pretty taboo now to drink and drive.. respect to them for that.
