Not me - but some rotten kids in the neighborhood were harassing the lady on the corner because she spoke with a heavy French accent (she was born there) and they told here to "go back to where you come from."

My mom heard them. She knew the parents and called them about their son and daughter and their behavior. That ended it.

Yeah. Way off the beaten path in Mexico once. My Spanish isn't very good and being white and American didn't help. It got a little dicey for a second. It was a small village and the younger dudes didn't like strangers. Some of the older people thankfully stepped in. Turned in to a nice lunch and everyone ended up being very cool.

Some white boys told me to go back to my country less than two miles away from the hospital I was born in. I didn't even say anything
