Have you ever been told to go back to your country because you spoke in another language?

Yeah. Way off the beaten path in Mexico once. My Spanish isn't very good and being white and American didn't help. It got a little dicey for a second. It was a small village and the younger dudes didn't like strangers. Some of the older people thankfully stepped in. Turned in to a nice lunch and everyone ended up being very cool.
