Scientific method: Hypothesize what probably went wrong, Experiment, change something from the last effort according to your hypothesis, Observe developments and note problems or improvements, form a conclusion, if goal is not achieved return to step 1, Hypothesize. If the goal is possible you will eventually reach it this way.
