@Peppa A hedonist is basically someone whose first priority in life is to do things that make them feel good. So a hedonist might eat lots of junk food even though it's unhealthy, or they might gamble because it's fun even though it's irresponsible, or things like that. It's not always a bad thing, but people use it in a negative connotation.
