Your stuck on a 10 square mile Island in the middle of the Pacific

you're marooned after a heavy storm at sea. The ship sinks with no other survivors or supplies. No means of communication possible. A natural beach and thick vegetation consuming 95% of the island.

What are somethings your begin looking for or doing to survive on this island till rescue finds you.

Maybe...

🤷‍♂️ I'm bored AF

I'd light a fire naturally as I was taught to do that and there has to be a fire going on the desert island its mandatory! 😁 I'd then look around for fruit and fish with the rod I made!
Also collect loads of stones and spell out "PICK ME UP IN A WEEK"
then I'd build a little Fort to sleep in!
With the fruit ill make a fab hooch!
Happy days! 😁👌

@Dusty101 Why wait a week? You could get sick, be injured, and/or die in the meantime. You would need water above all else. Good luck finding fruit and fish. It's not a vacation, madam.

@Byron8by7 I'm kinda having a bit of fun there...
😏
But I do have some survival skills.. I was in the venture scouts for years!

@Dusty101 I think it would be anything but fun, to say the least. I have had some survival training myself. Finding water and building a fire as a beacon would be the two priorities. I would go for "SOS" with the rocks, if there were any about.

@Byron8by7 I understand.. In all seriousness I'd probably light a fire and write help with stones and scream everytime I heard a plane waving something like a fire torch!
Byron8by7 · M
@Dusty101 I would do the same, except the screaming. They're not going to hear you from altitude.
Dusty101 · F
@Byron8by7 it would be an instinct probably for me to scream!

@Dusty101 I suppose. Cheers, darlin'. Take care.
@Dusty101 I like your vacation idea sounds brilliant 😂🤣😎😎😎
