I've read the same thing written by other people who were close to death. If you're telling the truth then that must have been a really intense experience.
I wonder....could that be the subconscious mind quickly reviewing your life in order to find anything that could help in that situation ? Trying to find any memory that could help ? I wonder. It's amazing how the mind can review so many things so quickly when it has a good incentive.

So older people drown more slowly as they have more to view?

It happens when one nears death usually or has a near death experience.

@sandrides I was learning swimming in drunk state in a picnic spot . Decided to go to deeper water. Soon the decision went wrong. I waved hand to a person sitting outside pool. Luckily he noticed me and pulled out me. But it was a great experience for me, my whole life was recapped in secs, 2-3 seconds I guess. That was a thrilling experience for me
Really?.. Was it scary?..

@PuppetOnStrings yes it was. I can say that end was very close. But as I was drowning in a 8feet swimming pool. Many people were around. But overall it was scary. I waved hand to a person. He noticed me, nd pulled out me
@KumarP I'm glad someone came to save you. Thank you for sharing your story.
