@BozoBoy I had a girl in Mississippi who was a heavy drinker. She used get violent and then call the police on me, and they would take her to jail every time! It was sick and hilarious! I don't consider that abusive though. I loved her, and I could have left any time.
I finally did when she turned on the gas while I was asleep and put wet towels under the doors.
