how do you know someone is calling from a fake number?

@Prettybrat They have the ability to "clone" phone numbers. They go through like real legitimate numbers, but if you try to call it back it will tell you it's no longer in service usually or that the call cannot be completed.

@indyjoe thats what has happened to me. i really dont understand. and then when i answer this person hangs up

@Guitarist07 I've gotten those, and also ones that say something like "your number has successfully been added…" then it hangs up. I just don't answer most of the time when I don't recognize the number. I've also discovered that legit numbers (callers) will leave a message where the fake ones won't.

Well right now.. I’ve been dealing with a psycho baby mama which is why I’m worried @indyjoe

@Guitarist07 I don't really know what to say on that one...when you tell me that, it sounds more like stalking than an issue with fake numbers.
