To save humanity you must sacrifice the person you love the most (even if it's yourself), would you do it?

Hard to imagine saying no and balancing my life against billions of others. But I'd want the deal in writing. Humanity gets saved and it's not going to hurt.

I can't think why, if humanity is so horrible, so many would want to stay.
