Are kids getting smarter these days ? Seems to me like they're learning faster

They are exposed to technology much earlier. So yeah in that one department sure they are smarter.
Overall I am not so sure.

Isn't that too late? 12 years old? 4 or 3 years at least to talk or speak.

Kids nowadays had been taught to use technology by their parents and it is makes sense at their age, these kids are in learning phase. The more they knew the more they gain their knowledge. They start to see the world and explore it.

I mean, tablets aren’t really hard to use, as such. Particularly from a kid’s perspective, touch this thing to get a game, this other thing to get videos... not a ton to learn, really.

Now a 4 year old typing out MS-DOS commands correctly would be a sight to see!

They are they have a very specific type of intelligence that old people dont have

does that mean they are actually smarter ? or tech wise
We used to know a billion phone numbers ,,pull figures out of our head
Spell ,,remember directions ,,and I had 400 songs I could sing off the top of my head ,,,I still know a lot of songs ,,,and I keep my memory sharp
But most people I know ,,take away their phone ,they are screwed
I have to tell ladies how to make change if they screw up ,,its sad not amazing ,,,they are being conditioned to count on a device and crave the Dopamine buzz they get from acceptance on social media ,,not sure tech wise is really smart
