What if someone told you that they had an experience with Jesus and he took that person to hell?

She says, after he took her to hell he showed her many women who had gone to hell for wearing trousers(Deut 22:5) wearing jewellery(https://bibleanalyses.com/is_wearing_earrings_a_sin.html) and weaves, make up. I am just telling you what I heard(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQ8wUDSIAbM)
Women, heads up, use discernment. People make money out of your ignorance by selling these items to you in bulk. They wouldn't want you to know this, use discernment
This is nonsense. Our salvation experience is strictly based on grace, through faith. Not what we wear, or on our works/performance.
I don’t have any qualms about that. What I differ with, is that God is more concerned about our heart, than what we wear. He looks at the heart of man to see his motives. Those were the old laws you referred to. We are not to judge a person by their appearance. I’ve seen some poor people come to church in shorts and no one made fun or turned them away. They were happy they came.

@LadyGrace We will definately be judged by our apearance. Mathew 22:12+13 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Nowhere in God’s Word, does it say we go to Hell because of what we wear. To better understand the context of this story, it is important to know some basic facts about weddings in Jesus’ day.

The matter of the wedding garment is instructive. It would be a gross insult to the king to refuse to wear the garment provided to the guests. The man who was caught wearing his old clothing learned what an offense it was, as he was removed from the celebration, and thrown outside in the darkness.

This was Jesus’ way of teaching the inadequacy of self-righteousness. From the very beginning, God has provided a “covering” for our sin. To insist on covering ourselves, is to be clad in “filthy rags” (Isaiah 64:6). Adam and Eve tried to cover their shame, but they found their fig leaves to be way too scant. God took away their handmade clothes and replaced them with skins of (sacrificed) animals (Genesis 3:7, 21). In the book of Revelation, we see those in heaven wearing “white robes” (Revelation 7:9), and we learn that the whiteness of the robes, is due to their being washed in the blood of the Lamb (verse 14). We trust in God’s righteousness, not our own (Philippians 3:9).

Just as the king provided wedding garments for his guests, God provides salvation for mankind. Our wedding garment is the righteousness of Christ, and unless we have it, we will miss the wedding feast. When the religions of the world are stripped down to their basic tenets, we either find man working his way toward God, or we find the cross of Christ. The cross is the only way to salvation (John 14:6).

Many are invited to come to know Christ, by the prompting of the Holy Spirit, but many shall reject that call. Lesson here is: Many people hear the call of God, but only a few heed it.

God told his own people to wear earrings... God had the craftsmanship of his holy temple feature deer and elk... it doesn’t mean that it’s the same as creating an image of a bull for worship as an idol...

It’s context that is important and I would say that, that person is a liar...

God loves jewelry and jewels and fine ornaments for he is the original creator of all those things.., he refers to his people that love him as being like precious stones to him...

So obviously this person who said these things doesn’t read their Bible is what I would say about it... And they probably hope people will buy their book about their “supernatural” experience.... it’s one of the oldest cons out there...

There’s no point in sharing a video about someone’s words especially when it does not edify the living word of God... just saying.. @lightshinesthroughdarkness
@SerenitiesScars Then let me put it more clearly. Acts 2:17, And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams

@lightshinesthroughdarkness Lol... it is also said in scripture that when Jesus was talking about what was to come of the future and his burden that would be death, Peter who was closest to him, thinking what he was saying was a good thing told him that he would not let Jesus die, to which Jesus replied “Get behind me Satan”

Not every thought or dream is from The Lord... “For be aware that he will even come to you dressed as an angel of light”

And do not forget the Bible verse where the Lord asked of the spirits.,, “And which one of you shall I send as a lying spirit of prophecy?” For which one demon replied “send me”

This is why we use the Living word of God to edify if what the person has said aligns with scripture...

The things this woman speaks of does not align with scripture at all for it is written in isaeh that God shall remove the beauty of their ratings, their makeups and their sweet smelling perfumes, all the beauty of the things they adorn their heads with for their sins...

God acknowledges these things as beautiful and as blessings unto them. But he removes them for their actual sins. In other words when a woman no longer has these things she is being scorned by God and is in a time of judgement...

This is how we edify the Bible, by studying it. Reading his words and knowing what he speaks on it...

Not by listening to the words of man who is of folly, but words of him who is Truth, which is Jesus Christ. Amen.

This is why many people don't like religion.
Only bad churches don’t pay taxes. @Harriet03

No they aren’t. It’s silly to say that. What you may be speaking of is the Catholic Churches. I’m not Catholic, but the priests have done awful things. @Harriet03
I wouldn’t believe it. Anyone in the Bible who has had a vision, or been in the presence of the Mist High has been undone or trembling in fear. Christ is holy and we aren’t.
@1234567890a It is possibe that God still speaks to his children through visions and dreams

I'm a Christian myself and she is just telling a lie.
What she speaks of is the Old Testament. Which was all about the Law before Jesus came and died for our sins.@SW-User
@SW-User It was true then and it is true now. Acts 2:17, And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams
Yes. That person was lying to her. God wouldn’t send anyone to hell for not wearing the right thing. That’s absurd. @SW-User
As long as a person has Jesus as their Lord and Saviour....it’s all that matters really. We can wear jeans and pants and earrings as long as what we wear does not hinder our relationship with Christ.
I prefer a relationship with Jesus over dos and don’ts.
If you feel convicted to wear dresses to your ankles, no makeup, no jewellery...etc...that is fine, but never judge those that do.
@MissMollyCharlotte0702 That's like saying, as long as I pay my taxes I'm fine. I could rob a bank and shoot homeless people but as long as I'm paying my taxes it's all ok. The world doesn't work like that, and neither does the kingdom of God.
We don’t go to heaven based on what we wear or don’t wear...what we do or don’t do. We go to haven when we have accepted Jesus as our Saviour. Do you not believe that thieves and murderers can see the kingdom of heaven if they truely repent?Do you believe a guy that comes into a church seeking salvation is going to hell because has a ponytail, an earring, and tattoos? Jesus loves us as we are. @lightshinesthroughdarkness
God’s word is sufficient. Once for all delivered to the saints.
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@1234567890a That's true. God also says that in the last days people will have dreams and visions, it's in the bible. (Acts 2:17)And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams

Are you trying to tell me that i’m going to hell for wearing trousers?

...Trousers?

@NickiHijab not just trousers.

Deuteronomy 22:5 New International Version (NIV)
5

A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this.

Mind you, what was men and womens clothing in those days 🤔

I would stop that conversation before she had time to say all that.
@Celticclown Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams

Its all rubbish, dont believe all you hear.
@msros Everyone always get's a chance to hear the truth. Weither it was something they read or heard from others in the mall. Everyone will get a chance to hear the truth before they die. They will do with it as they please.
